Isle of Wight Compost

Isle of Wight Compost has been sold either in bags or in bulk since 1995. The original compost was produced from garden waste collected at the Island's Civic Amenity sites. Island Waste Services commenced operating an in-vessel composting plant in November 1998. This plant will produce a high quality product resulting from the composting of kitchen organic and garden waste.
