path out of unemployment
The options you can choose from

Receive a two-week
'Gateway to Work' course

Receive help in finding a job
(often with training)

Receive help with setting up
your own business

Gain experience and
training through work with a voluntary or environmental group

Study
full time for the qualifications you need
to help you find a job

applies innovative ways to help you examine the
skills and experience you may already have and explains how these can
be built upon and improved.
It's a chance to look at a
variety of jobs, as well as offering a training opportunity to gain the
new skills and qualifications
employers are looking for.

New Deal 50 plus is a major new package of
support for people over the age of 50 who want to work, and it can
help give you the advice, skills and confidence to get back to work.

signing for National Insurance credits or receiving Invalid Care
