The Countryside Section and the Isle of Wight AONB ProjectThe Section conserves and enhances important landscape and wildlife sites across the Island, owned by the IWC. It maintains Local Nature Reserves, Country Parks and other countryside sites of interest. It provides ecological advice and countryside information. The Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Project stimulates and co-ordinates action, involving landowners and the local community to maintain the rich natural heritage of the Isle of Wight. |
